bio of Kevin Andrews

Hailing from Wisconsin, Kevin Andrews was the youngest dance lecturer at UW-Madison. After spending two years in Los Angeles Kevin studied with Marty Kudelka, Columbus Short, Brian Friedman & Dante. Kevin was dancing nonstop at the Millennium Dance Complex and The Edge Performing Arts Center (among other studios), he made the transition to the south...

Kevin's knack for story telling through live movement is fresh on the scene here in Atlanta, but certainly not going unnoticed. Shortly after his arrival, he landed lead choreographer positions with up & coming artists and has performed with Lee Ann Rimes, Alan Jackson, Big & Rich and Sheryl Lee Ralph.

His personal style is dictated by the story he feels that the music demands. Being well versed in hip hop, ballet, tap, ballroom, jazz, modern, country and musical theater, lends him an arsenal of techniques and a never ending supply of ideas on his side, from teaching workshops and being devoted to the craft. He's able to fuse the aspects of any type of movement into whatever he needs to carry the message to the audience. A Kevin Andrews signature is allowing the audience to see the music in a different way than they hear it. Keeping current and on the pulse of the dance world is what allows him to achieve that.

Kevin is the author of the first and top grossing Hip Hop Curriculum, a new book Artist Movement: A Guide to Visual Enlightenment and the best selling Dance Formations program/app. Along with other dance related apps, Kevin Andrews Industries LLC has sold over 50,000 apps and counting.

Truly looking for all opportunities to maximize his talent, providing the best services Atlanta can offer to artists, performers and dancers alike, Kevin Andrews will soon be a force heard, not just nationally but globally.
